  • The fifth of the TVXC events for 2018/19 season the cross country league that is for EVERYONE race starts 11am and will take place at:

  • We have been lucky enough to be selected by England Athletics to take part in their 'Club Run' initiative - this represents the second of our three sessions (two practical and one theory) and is open to and suitable for all three training groups.

    Venue: Easthampstead Park Conference Centre, Peacock Lane, Bracknell, RG40 3DF

    Talk will start promptly at 8:15pm to allow time for those attending the Monday night run or track session to come along after - Tea and coffee will be available to help warm you up if you've been out and about - arrive anytime from 7:45pm - we might even get them to opent he bar ;-)

    The session will be lead by Nick Anderson - With over 25 years running experience, Nick is a graduate in Science & Management of Health & Fitness, a UKA level 4 endurance coach, a qualified nutritionist and sports therapy practitioner. Nick is currently an England Athletics flying coach & manages GB squads for at events such as the World Half Marathon Championships. Having coached hundreds of athletes from beginners through to olympians Nick is one of Europe's most highly respected coaches. Nick is England Marathon Lead and England Regional Coaching Lead for the South. 

    How to train, recover and perform is a talk that is aimed at members of all abilities and Nick is keen for attendees to come with questions for him to make it as interactive as posible Nick loves working with big numbers of runners of all abilities. He is really looking forward to coming to support BFR.

    John Harris our EA Regional Club Support Manager will also be attending this session.

  • The sixth of the TVXC events for 2018/19 season and most probably the one with legendary staue within the cross country league that is for EVERYONE. Race starts 11am and will take place at:

    Bradenham Woods just outside High Wycombe

    Post race conflab in local drinking establishment will be at The Black Lion, Woodland Drive, Naphill, HP14 4SH it's les than 5 minutes drive from the XC course

  • The Xmas XC 5.2 Mile race will take place on Sunday 9th December 2018, 11am at the Hurst Community College, Brimpton Road, Baughurst, Tadley, Hampshire, RG26 5NL

    The course entirely off road on footpaths, fields and meadows, taking in some varied terrain and a few ups and downs!

    The Race HQ is at the Hurst Leisure Centre, where there are ample parking, changing and shower facilities and catering.

     

  • After an extended Christmas break, the penultimate TVXC event for 2018/19 season, so come run off some Xmas cheers in the cross country league that is for EVERYONE race starts 11am and will take place at:

    Hurst Community College, Brimpton Road, Tadley, RG26 5NL

    Parking will be available on site at the college but this is 20 minutes walk to the actual start of the race

  • Our home race and the final event of the 2018/19 TVXC fixtures - the cross country league that is for EVERYONE race starts 11am

    Lightwater Country Park, 72 The Avenue, Lightwater GU18 5RG

    We will need volunteers by the bucketload as well as food to feed all the hungry runners post race so anyone who doesn't fancy running we still need your help!!

    Please also ask friends and family to come along and support our event by marshalling and cheering on the runners

    We ALWAYS have the best spread of food and the most enthusiastic marshals - lets make sure we maintain our reputation and send all the XC runners BFR and the otherclubs home smiling

  • The 10 Mile race will take place on Sunday 17th February 2019, 10:30 am at the Bramley Primary School, RG26 5AH 

    The course is a single loop of 10 miles over quiet, pretty country lanes on the Hampshire –Berkshire borders, The course is accurately measured and is well marked and marshalled. 

    The Race HQ is at the School where there are ample parking and changing facilities and an on-site caterer.
