Winter Distance Training Week 5 - Please be careful in icy conditions
See below for this week's training

  • Alexandra Perrior - Saturday 8.30am - Peacock Farm - 14 miles at 9.30mm
  • Simon Brown - Sunday 8:45am to run 10 miles 8mm easy to XC via footpaths, trails and Swinley to Lightwater Country Park. Lift back to Wokingham possible after XC. Please contact Simon for route start point and pickup locations - space in my car for 3 to come back to Wokingham
  • Joan Barker - Saturday 14-15 miles from the car park on Easthampstead Rd (by Papa John’s) in Wokingham at 7:30am to Dinton Pastures parkrun and then return... but it really depends on the weather and conditions under foot
  • Lisa Plummer - Saturday 9.00 Ascot High Street car park number 6. 14 miles @ 11mm. For a 10 mile option we will be at Blacknest Gate approx 09.22-09.25
  • Alan Bent - 13 miles Saturday morning at 9am sports centre car park all are welcome
  • Gayle Nebbett - 10:30s drop down this week / Saturday 02.02 / 10am @ South Hill Park / 9-10 miles
  • Alex Tabb Perrett - 9mm group meeting Sat 2nd Feb at 9am for 16 miles. Meeting at Helen and Keith Johnson’s house near Fernbank Road, Ascot. Please pm for address. I am told there will be coffee and cake after at theirs
  • Neil Kevern - car share to XC, then run back. If I can't get a lift I don't mind driving and doing a post XC run around the Deepcut ranges instead. People welcome to join me, pace after XC 7:30-8mm for around 12-13 miles.


  • Not Running - 12mm Group
Remember you should aim to train at a pace 45s-75s slower than your intended race pace - Always be careful that you don't train too close to your race pace as you will fatigue through the training period
