Forest running - safety guidance

  • Run with AT LEAST one other person
  • Ensure someone who is not running with you knows the route you are planning to take and roughly what time you expect to be back
  • ALWAYS carry your mobile phone and ensure that it is sufficiently charged
  • Ensure that you have enough time to complete your route BEFORE the sun starts to set - there are no lights in the forest
