I wasn’t really interested in sport at school. Music was my thing. I’ve played in bands and orchestras and sung in different choirs. Amongst the highlights are performing at the Royal Albert Hall and playing on the pitch at Twickenham and Wembley!

I was a PE avoider at school. I hated it to the point where I’d change my trumpet lesson to coincide with PE so that I could get out of it!

I only began running In 2015 after finding out about parkrun and deciding that it was worth giving it a go to help improve my fitness. I found that I quite enjoyed it, and joined BFR in 2016.

I look forward to Monday night club runs, especially leading the 12s, and I love a good track session. I’ve found that track has really helped improve me as a runner.

Why coaching? Everyone at BFR has inspired, supported and encouraged me to take on lots of different challenges and I’d like to help inspire and support others to do the same.
